Gas Boosters

Dunphy has a range of gas boosters to suit the majority of applications where a robust and reliable solution to the problem of low gas pressure is required.

As standard, they comprise anywhere from one to three booster units that can provide a pressure lift of up to 82mBar and volumes up to 1300m 3 /hr. Where there is a requirement for a greater pressure lift or volume, a bespoke range of boosters is available.

Dunphy are an ISO9001 accredited company so you can be sure of a high-quality product that has passed a rigorous testing procedure. Our gas boosters meet the requirements of BS 8487, for the design and construction of gas boosters in association with combustion equipment.

• High efficiency, backward bladed fan, mounted on a twin bearing supported precision ground shaft
• ATEX versions available
• Variable speed drive, to minimise electrical consumption and noise, and soft start options are available
• Biogas and towns gas variants available
• Bypass loop arrangements can be accommodated for low flow (high turndown applications)
• SCADA/BMS integration available
• Options for use with corrosive gases, such as biogas

• Horizontal and vertical arrangements

Simplex Gas Boosters

For basic requirements, see our range of simplex gas boosters which comprise of a single unit that can be skid mounted.

Duplex Gas Boosters

Designed for situations where there is a requirement for duty standby or duty assist operation, these comprise of two gas boosters, mounted on a skid, and supplied with a control panel.

Triplex Gas Boosters

For more complex requirements, such as duty/assist/standby then a triplex booster comprises 3 boosters, mounted on a skid and supplied with a control panel.

Bespoke Gas Boosters

For requirements that fall outside of our standard supply, we are able to offer bespoke-designed gas boosters that can be tailored to a customer’s specific needs.
